December 14, 2008 - Quinton, VA.

Today, ofcourse was bitter-sweet. It was our final day of promotion in Quinton, VA and we had really grown fond of the local hospitality. Whether rain or shine, the good people of Quinton embraced us with smiles and handshakes and were always eager to lend an ear to learn all about the world we know as Bloom. In line with southern tradition, things around town moved a little slower and easier today as people took time out on Sunday for a little rest and relaxation. Keeping in line with southern tradition though, the line at the local Cracker Barrel was teeming with hungry families waiting to be served hearty helpings of a warm country brunch. What's the breakfast/brunch crowd began to clear, we decided to take the advice of one of the local Bloom managers (Shawn) and spend some time there engaging the consumer. Bloom consumers were incredibly excited to see our team and the shopping cart and were more than happy to talk to us about the store they love - not to mention pick up some great coupons! While in the parking lot, we actually were able to spot a woman that we had met on Friday that we had given a coupon to - coupon in hand and ready to shop. She admitted that this was actually her first time shopping at a Bloom store. It was an amazing site to see a new customer excited and in full "Bloom".
